Has anybody tried modifying the selector levers on an arc fire V2 to work with a Leber V2 lower in an MP5? I know AS Designs is busy working on their ARHK and I'm definitely going to get one of those when available. I also know that prototytpe Leber V2 ARC Fire 4590 selectors exists, because I've seen a set on instagram here: https://x.com/s3igu2 My question is, has anybody tried to mod the standard arcfire levers or the optional 416 style selectors to work in a Leber V2 lower? I'd like to put a 45-90 degree arc fire V2 in a Leber lower. |

You can use a standard Arcfire V2 in a Leber V2 lower. There are Leber V2s specifically for Arcfires, and from what I understand, you might even be able to make a pushbutton SS-style Leber V2s work with an Arcfire -- although you would likely need to use a non-ambi or remove the right side selector (not 100% it's doable, but I vaguely remember someone saying they'd made it work). Either way, you don't need to modify the levers; you just need a Leber V2 designed for an Arcfire.  Leber V2 selector version for reference. ETA: The issue isn't so much with the levers; the issue is with the width of the safety drum. An HK width lower is a good bit wider than an AR lower. I guess they intend to make the cam actuation piece longer in order to accommodate an HK width with the planned Leber-specific levers? I'm not sure. I don't think it would be practical to try to home-modify the levers to work with a full HK width. I'd either get the Arcfire-specific Leber V2 or wait on ASD to release the levers. |

I know about the Leber lowers with the safety cutout area but I hate the look and I already have a lower. I think the prototype levers I'd like to duplicate simply have a bend to stick out a little from the side of the lower.
