Based on your observations I'd agree.  edit to add: under their returns/exchange they list 400 Park Ave Youngsville, NC 27596 If I needed another ARC I'd roll the dice. Just use a CC. |

Google maps shows that address as ar15discounts.com warehouse. Part of me says go for it, as I have two other (maybe 3) AR's I want to get set up with these, but I am still trying to get the two I have working. SO that makes me hesitate. Plus I will still have to buy the milspec levers. Another part of me says just wait for the V2 to come out. But who knows how much the V2 will be? If I buy the above and add the milspec levers, that will put me around to just a little over $200. The V2 is supposed to come with milspec levers from the get go. The V1 was $200 at launch, then went up to $250. I wonder if the same would happen with the V2 (probably not). |

Can someone clarify how the Geissele MCX trigger with the trigger bridge is compatible with the slip trip kit? Or does the trigger bridge need to be removed? The reason I ask is because ASD sells the precut MCX trigger on their website and there's no mention that the bridge needs to be removed. I'm actually interested in the MPX application and thought the answer may be the same for MCX. |

Currently trying out a tiny chunk of grip tape stuck to the left lever. Tried to order the mil spec lever upgrade last week but it was sold out, should check again. Anodized AL is never going to be as good as a properly made mil spec style selector lever….unfortunate. Rest of the parts look good. |

Anybody willing to lend some advice on my issue? The Trigger works fine in Semi, but does not go force reset. In SS you feel a click in the trigger, and then you release the trigger, press the trigger and it will fire again. I've swapped out buffers, I've tightened and loctite'd the screws. First off, config is; Spikes ST15 Lower Geissele SSA-E Trigger (purchased from ASD w/ SS Cuts) Ambi V1 Kit Super 42 H3, H2, and a JP SS H2 have all been tried. Upper is just a SuperDuty Mod1 One of the first things I noticed is that the whole mechanism seems a bit wide;  Measuring the shaft length;  And then where the bolt resets in FRT mode;  It also looks like something is pinching the shelf near the safety as well, possible clearance issue? As another note, there is a lot of wobble in the lever, just not sure if I have more than is "allowed" or not. Some additional pictures while selector is on SS;   Selector on Semi;

Otherwise, if it's in spec, you're likely dealing with a trigger cut issue, but that's hard to say without seeing your trigger modifications. As a general rule, if the radius on the left rear of the trigger bar has too little material removed, you won't get a hammer release. That, or you'll get release, but the trigger will be very difficult to pull, and/or the hammer may exhibit binding (i.e. if you ride the hammer forward, it may hang mid-stroke). If too much material has been removed, you'll have normal function, but no forced reset. The latter could be your issue, but before anything else, verify the barrel measurement and go from there. |

Ask and you shall receive.. One other note, this was cut by AS Designs (not me), so while everybody could make mistakes, just something to consider. Forgot to add, the above referenced image is how I measured. It was from the top of the cam(?) on the detent bar side to the end of the shaft. I believe it's .690" unless my reading is way off. Has anyone got the arc fire to work with amphibian's recoil system? It consist of the following on the AR lower A5 length buffer tube like vltor or bcm's. Tubbs 556 AR flat wire spring Kynshot RB5007 hydraulic buffer Amphibian lives in Florida and he owns full auto so he doesn't use frts for those obvious reasons. Sorry if this has been asked already but l don't remember seeing it asked before in this thread. If anyone has any experience with this setup with the arc fire or any input on it please. Thanks, Mav You can read my thread where I used one of the hydro buffers in my 9mm and I also tried one in 2 different 223's. The 9mm ended up working good with a recoil spring change, but the 223's I could not get to run with the hydro buffer. Need some help. Modified my SSA-E last night per the instructions on page 18. Installed it all together with the lever blocker and tested the safety lever first. Flips fine to semi and FRT. Dry firing in semi works just fine. I would say it almost feels lighter than it used to. Problem is I flip it to FRT mode and it won’t fire. Hammer won’t drop. SSA-E pulls back like your hitting the first stage wall but then it won’t budge. If I hold the trigger down and pull the charging handle back I can feel it force reset and push the trigger forward. But it will not release the hammer in 3rd position. If I move back to semi it will fire just fine. So here’s my trigger:     So I’m thinking my right side that you’re supposed to just round isn’t rounded enough maybe? I was nervous to go too far. I’m just curious if this is an obvious “left side or right side issue” |

I just used 320 grit until the hammer would drop, then polished up 400, 600, and so on to 2000 grit. You likely will also notice the hammer binding slightly when released in semi (i.e., if you hold the hammer and pull the trigger, it will hesitate or be gritty in the middle, possibly even stop completely midway as you ride it forward). It's a very small difference between functioning semi and no hammer drop in FRT, so remove only a small amount at a time on the point and test. |

SOLVED!! took just a bit more and it would fire, but weirdly delayed. Pulled it all apart again, took a little more, sanding it with 1500 grit and polished it, dropped it back in and boom. Works like a charm now. Thank you to the two of you who suggested that. |
