I’ve tried searching through some threads but with California constantly changing their regulations it’s hard to figure out if at this current time it’s legal or illegal. I’m an AZ resident moving to California and have an AR pistol, if I maglock the pistol, and obviously adhere to the 10 round mag limit, is it legal to take it to the state of California or has some new legislation happened that bars me from owning it there. |

I can't comment on the specifics for bringing an AR pistol to CA, but a lot of the AR style rifles/pistols being sold in CA now use this device for compliance: Compmag I have a couple of AR pistols that were sold and registered as pistols in CA that use this device. It is very useful for folks that regularly travel out of the state and like to change configurations. Good luck with your move and hopefully we get some relief for all this silliness in June of 27. |
