Here is a AR Pistol I put together this week. Mod. ! Sales 7.5 upper, on a Spikes pistol lower. I put the BSA red dot on for testing. I'm looking for a set of BUIS. and maybe an EOTEC.  I'd recently asked about using the 'stripped lower' I won for use as a pistol. This looks like a good, all-around design to follow. The hitch seems to be that the lower needs to be signed in to the FFL's A&D Book as a 'pistol' to begin with. Then it may be built as a pistol; changed to a rifle if desired; and changed back to a pistol at any time because of its original designation as a pistol. As long as the paperwork says it's a pistol in the first place. Prudence suggests that one keep a copy of all that special paperwork for future proof should the need arise. I'm looking forward to having a 'leetle frend'... |
