| I am looking to build a 300 BLKOUT soon with a 7.5" barrel. I am wondering what type of buffer set ups are ya running? Can I get away with running an H2 buffer with a sprinco regular spring? |

The gun runs with all of them, only difference is ejection pattern. |
| Barrel gas port size determines everything. My 7.5" upper (PSA nitrided) runs supers and subs with and without a can with a standard carbine buffer and spring. It's over gassed, which is common from manufacturers. Since it sits on a registered SBR lower and was purpose built to be a suppressed sub shooter, I'm not worried about over gassing with supers because I don't shoot them. I did so when I got it just for test purposes. If I decide at any point to run supers later, I'll probably add an AGB to keep from beating the internals. If yours won't cycle with subs, then the easiest fix is to open the barrel gas port a little. Fidgeting around with buffers and springs might work, but it's going to cost more. |
