I have purchased 4 aimpoints, none of them the same. I used to have an M4s, and a Pro. I currently own an H1 and a T1. I have had zero issues, and have never even had to change out a battery. I only got rid of the heavy one's after trying the micros. Micros from now on for me!!!

| My first range trip with my T-1 recently, I had a guy ask me if it was the new PA micro sight. I said no it was a T-1. He then ridiculed me for wasting my money when the PA is the same thing. I then took the Aimpoint off, threw it into a berm, then stomped on it. The Aimpoint pretty much laughed at me. I then challenged him to do the same with his optic, in which he declined. |

I have a new T1 that I just sent to Aimpoint for replacement. There was a thick half circle of "green" tint from about 7 oclock to about 3 oclock. Looks like the tint was applied to thick in this area.
Aimpoint is taking care of it no problems. They had had it for about a week and informed me that it would be another week to 2 weeks wait from here. |

ML3 that I bought in 2011. Started changing brightness without touching the knob. Sometimes you could turn it to maximum and barely see the dot. Battery changes did not help. Sent it to Virginia, they looked at it and said it needed new "guts" so it went to Sweden for 2 months. Been back a year and works perfectly. Only cost me shipping to VA.
Also have a Pro and a M4s and they have been perfect. |

I had two Aimpoint PROs. Bought one new and one used but like new. Had them for 2 years with zero issues.
I recently sold them and switched to EOtechs. i switched because I prefer the EOtech over Aimpoints. I also tried the Vortex and sold them too. I am testing an ACOG to see if I like that. |

When I was an armorer for the US Army I had 60 Aimpoint M68s. Rarely had a problem with them that wasn't user error. We had a lot of drained batteries from people leaving them on when they where not actually shooting, and some people had difficulty zeroing; but in 2 years of being responsible for them I didn't have any reliability issues.
These would be used for zeroing and qualifying and saw about 200 rounds fired with them every 6 months in addition to any use with blanks during training in the remainder of the year. |

Aimpoint Comp M4 bought in 2011 for a Colt 6940. Put about 1500 rounds through the rifle including ~900 over a 3-day carbine class. No issues and still on the same battery. I leave it on a middle setting all the time.
Aimpoint Pro on a colt 6720 since fall 2011. About 250 rounds with no problems and original battery. This reminds me i need to replace that battery. Aimpoint Pro on a SBR for about a year. Don't remember that round count (less than 400). No problems at all with this one either. |

Comp M, bought in heavily used condition in 2012 -- I twisted the emitter assembly inside the tube housing when trying to remove front lens cover. I was able to twist it back. It had also developed very mushy clicks on the windage adjustment knob, making it hard to count clicks when zeroing.
PRO, bought in 2013, no issues. PRO, bought in 2015, one ring mount screw was over-tight or had the wrong type loctite on it, and stripped when the supplied wrench was used on it. Aimpoint sent replacement screws. |
| I bought an H-1 new in I believe 2010 and had the brightness switch go out in 2013. Aimpoint sent it back to Swedan for repair work. After about a month, I got it back and it's been fine. |

| My T1 rheostat is starting to wobble side to side (or in and out depending how you look at it). This particular T1 did not see any hard use, nor was the gun it resided on put through any extremes. I contacted Aimpoint and received instructions on how to send it in for repair a few days later. We'll see how long it takes for it to come back fixed. |

My rifle was too long, so I spent $200 and waited 6 months to make it shorter. Then it was too loud, so I spent another $200 and waited another 6 months to make it quieter. This made it longer again.
