More people seem to own and have tested the Schmeisser, and the S is on Gen 2 now. Since you can get that one for $30, I think thats worth is vs the less known AC unity. On the other hand guys swear by the AC unity AUG mags. It's just at 60rd, the ammo fill costs more than the mag for either. So not much "savings" if the cheaper mag ends up jamming or requiring more runs through to prove reliability. |

I have a ATI Schmeisser mag and it has worked the 2-3 times I have used it. I have a Target Sports USA marked Ac unity mag that did not work on the single outing I took it on. These on PSA appear to be the same target Sports labeled mags. The ammo used was the New Republic brand from Target sports and that ammo did seem to have a little longer OAL. Think that was the issue on the AC unity Mag(Target Sports) labeled mag. I have not had a chance to try any other brands of ammo. So hope that helps |

| No mag at this price point will ever be worth the ammo you put through it...jamming and having no real value in the field makes it a waste of your time and money. Buy something that will last...but you are going to pay for it. D60 does a great job...so does the Blits7 steel mag. Pricey but damn 100% reliable. |

Took one and a schmeisser 60rd out the other day and did a couple dumps through each with FRT. No hiccups from either, 11.5 carbine gas with A5H3 and Tubbs spring, Turbo 2 suppressor on the end. About 970rpm. Next test is going to be to shake a mag around roughly, maybe drag it in a bag on the ground and see if i can dislodge rounds enough to cause hang ups in the feeding. |
