I've fallen down the rabbit hole looking for an A2-style stock for my MSR 6.5 CM. It currently has a collapsible from the factory of dubious strength and honestly, I don't like collapsibles on full size rifles. So, having looked at them until I got dizzy, what is a good brand and source? I'm weighing buying this one from Texas Precison Optics or this one this one from PSA. Any comments on either or better suggestions? |

I’d use this kit, Fulton Armory is a known quality. https://www.fulton-armory.com/product/butt-stock-assembly-group-a2-new-308-ar/ Alternatively Brownells has a good kit as well. If you are using a scope and like a little higher cheek position like I do you can attach this riser using two 5/8” long black button head machine screws. https://victorcompanyusa.com/universal-cheekrest-kits-1 Just be sure and set it about 1/4” further back then your charging handle when in the bolt locked, charging handle unstowed position, and drill your holes so that the machine screws come through below the Receiver extension tube.
