Been reading some threads, and "the arrow" is mentioned when discussing handguards. What did I miss? I've got some stuff straight from Colt and some stuff straight from the .mil, and I'm not seeing anything about arrows? Little help? TIA |

TIA Not on my A2 handguards, but my KAC M5 and M4 rails have the arrow stamped on the heat shield to point to the muzzle end of the firearm for installation direction. Otherwise, I'm not sure what arrow you're talking about. |

Anyone who has installed one of these knows the arrow is pretty unnecessary. Not only will it not fit the handguard cap or delta ring properly(lip lock), theyre rail slot numbered front to back. Never seen a arrow in a standard set of rifle or carbine handguards, again they only go on one way. |

And I like a lot of his videos I love my Marine bros, but they have a reputation for forcing square objects into round holes and still making it work for a reason. In my case, it was personnel clerks with an M16A4 and the HHC armorer didn't notice. His XO was not happy when I pointed it out. I was drawing weapons from HHC because our line company had already sent weapons ahead to our AO so I could qual before deployment. I've also seen Privates hammering the rails back onto their M4 with a hammer. The military has all types lol. |
