Source for forend and front sight? I really want to build one of these... @Jason280 Garrison Mfg ([email protected]). It was about $380 for front sight assembly, handguard and cap and barrel. As far as I know he only does snail mail as payment. |

That's similar to what I did, but I cut down the bullet button to be flush with the frame. I'm also considering drilling and tapping the mag adapter and putting a couple of screws through the side of the magwell.
Also, just to further differentiate this from my other AR builds, I used the Elftman push button safety. |

Been thinking about a Stern setup as I have plenty of 92 mags. I think Wilson Combat is the only other option for an AR 9 platform using Beretta mags. |

View Quote agreed. the only other ar-platform system i could find was wilsons. and they didn't offer it in a short enough barrel. only had a few hundred rounds thru the one i built up, all 147, blazer aluminum and federal AE. once i got the buffer weight lined out its been good. but having had other AR9 models before, i've decided to only run it with round nose. i have some HUSH 147 RN coming. will know more then. regardless, the best choice i made was to use Rudy's barrel (aka Macon Armory) which he says is "9MM - GUARANTEED TO FEED BARRELS". i found other brand barrels were never ramped correctly. and i am also very impressed with Stern Defense's mag adapter, handguard and bolt carrier group |

QC10 receivers with a bunch of stuff added. Makes a nice combo to the Glock 19. Only wish my can was 1” shorter so I could fit totally in my EDC bag.

Scored on this deal!!!
https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/COLT-SMG-9MM-A1-PARTS-KIT-6p7366.htm Exterior looks a little beat up but the inside in pristine!!! This will be a reweld. It's too right to be cannibalized. Just the highlights. Yes, I have a potato for a camera. Correct sights. Inventory label on waffle buttstock. Remember those numbers, you may see them again (stomp, stomp). Left side of mag stub. Right side of mag stub. I has DOE (and DOT) carbine!!! Left side up upper. So like my scrotum, here it is in a nutshell. Received every part, minus the sear. All parts look to have came from the same gun, based on the 128414 number on the upper, lower, and buttstock. C MP CB 03/04 barrel that looks like new. If these ever come up again from RTG, I will get another! |
