I seperate everything first then cut everything in half, and glue it all back together. For certain rounds, a underwater grinder is used to keep heat and sparks down while cutting.
With the needs of todays "Green" ammo, maybe the ATF is looking the other way. However there are rumors that it might be stopped, or has been stopped already. Will pick up a couple of Gold Dots this weekend. wolfgang |

Now the Barnes Banded Solids material can be considered brass and then that would now be no go in a pistol (think 5.7). It's why one small manufacturer changed their bullet material to chromium copper after having their inventory of seized because it was "brass" |
