Yes, that's definitely one of the underwater cuttings. There is a temperature thing too, ice water.
NO ONE SHOULD ATTEMTP THIS THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once ignited, white phosphorous can not be extinguished until it burns itself out. Stories of getting it on you and having to cut it out with a knife, before it goes all the way through. Its the basic ingredient in NAPALM. Threw it out on my gravel driveway in a puddle, and a week later had a 4 foot flame for 10 minutes. Lots of white smoke. Also have set my lawn on fire twice besides that. VERY dangerous stuff, I break out all the precautions when dealing with it. |

Hoping only to be helpful... We had rounds called WP or Willy Peter which were white phosphorous. Later Napalm used Thermite and White Phosphorous as an initiator only, the main ingredients were hydrocarbons such as Benzene etc. Never the less, bad stuff to mess with unless you have the knowledge and resources to mess with it. |
