I think I put this together about 2010 and I still have it. This was my first and only tax stamp. I bought the upper on Gunbroker and I think I traded a type III AK47 kit to Blaco-diablo for the lower. The butt is a my65pan piece. I put an FRS and an H-3 buffer in it and WOW, what a hooot! A little over 1.5 seconds for a 30rnd mag and the loudest gun I have ever fired. I think I will stop beating it up for a while. Very sexy! Im a huge 607 fan and I have a lot of respect for all the guys that were doing builds back in the early days of this forum!  @uxb was another wonderfully bad influence.  Mine took 12 years of gathering parts, moving to a free state, losing intrest, starting life over, getting re-interested, scraping some money together to finish it out, and finally filling out the F1 and sending parts to J.T.

Absolutely beautiful build! Man, I wish I still had that Type 3 kit! I miss those days. Retro building was so cool, scrounging for parts...the OG crowd all trading ideas and learning together. Very cool blast from the past (even though I changed my username )As a side note, the moment that Florida legalizes FRTs, my 607 is getting one. I bet that thing is a blast. |

I am suprised you don't still have the kit, I sure as hell wish I did. That was long ago, I don't think you had even joined the service yet. Nice to hear from you Brother! By the way, what did you finish this lower with? When you put an frs or frt in it you realize real fast that those are fifty cent peices coming out of the end of the barrel, about $15 worth every 1.75 seconds. It is hard to stop though.
