| Who makes the best? I’m not a fan of the huge curve on one style. But have seen ASC and D&H. Is there any others I should be looking at? |

In the range of 20 rds or fewer, just about everything works except E-Lander. Oh, and E-Lander are not really 6.8 magazines, even though they label them as such. Do NOT waste time or money on E-Lander. PRI seem to be the best game in town, especially in the over 20 rds division. Barrett used to make 30 rounders, which were pretty good. The followers can be a little sticky, but I only ever saw it actually get stuck when shucking. ASC 25 rounders are pretty good. I've had a few issues with rounds getting hung up. A little Dremel work to take the front lip of the magazine down has eliminated that issue. The ASC mags are available in FDE. Understand that the plastic Magpul 30 round magazines only fit a specific pattern of rifle called the Six8. If you are unsure if that's what you have, that's not what you have. It's pricey stuff. It has a bigger magwell and more space in the upper receiver. Everything that fits a standard AR15 is going to be metal. My favorites are the ASC 15 round mags. I've Dremeled the fronts just to be safe, but never had a stoppage with them as delivered. |

I have quite a few PRI and Barrett 30's. A few years ago, Barrett had 1/2 off their 30rd 6.8 mags. They had that sale 2 Christmas' in a row. Bought 10 or 12 the first year. 15 the next year. I have 13 or 14 ASC 25 rd mags also. They work really well. Check the EE here and gunbroker for mags. The 68forum lists some every now and again also. |
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

I wanted to do reliability testing on them before buying more. They turned out to be great mags. PK was sold out when I went to buy more and I couldn’t find any vendors that had decent pricing on them at the time. |

| the barrett mags pop up from time to time. be advised there seems to be 2 verisons. One has the barrett logo on the sides and the other its just on the floorplate. I personally so far have only acquired the one with it on the side so I can't say for sure if they are different. I'd suspect the floorplate verison someone oem for barrett. If I ever find one I'll compare them for yall |
