I know the GMR 308 SS specifically needs a BCG with a 2.2" tail so it doesn't damage the trip. This leads me to believe a BCG with a 2.4" tail might trip an Arizona Regulator since my 2.2" BCG is just a little too short. Everything else appears to be fine with the "no disconnector" type setup and a speed hammer. Does anybody know which brands of 308 BCG have a 2.4" tail? |

Question - could you measure the Battlehawk from the rear of the BCG to the trip surface? Want to make sure it isn't too long before I order one. Edit: Nevermind, I'm betting it's a 2.5" tail. I just measured the BCG from my first .308 build, and it is 2.5". I wonder how difficult it would be to shave 1/10" off a carrier? |
