Attached File Attached File Haven't tested for accuracy yet, but ran some handloads through the jakl today. 125gr hp, 20.5gr Accurate 11fs powder, 2080 fps average 190gr Hornady Sub-x, 9.4gr Accurate 11fs powder, 1080 fps average The 125gr supers ran good on setting 3, locking back and everything. Setting 2 would sometimes fail to eject. The 190gr subs wouldn't cycle, even with the gas wide open. I haven't tried heavier loads yet. I did put my longest suppressor on there in hopes the pressure would help it cycle but didn't work. Update: It helps to turn the gas valve the correct direction, it works fine I've been running it super wet, I'll clean it and run some more supers through it before trying subs again. Probably have around 120 rounds though it (yeah I know, not a lot). Mostly 125gr and 147gr supers. |

I tried mp-380 (American Reloading) powder which is similar to 4198 which would be slower than 11FS. That didn't run either. I was hoping the 11FS would run, seems to have higher pressure than most other subsonic powders. I could try a faster powder, but usually they have less port pressure. Other powders I could try are imr 4227, w296, shooters world heavy (aa#9). |

Mostly 125gr and 147gr supers. What can do you have on it? I would try some factory ammo so that it helps us with knowing a can and ammo combo that did/didn't work. We tried the JAKL with a TON of cans and subsonics, but unfortunately we couldn't try every combination out there. Thanks, Josiah |

I also have a YHM Resonator K that I could try as well. I'll order some factory subs and give it a try. Eta: Ordered factory subs to try: Hornady 190gr sub-x Hornady 208gr Amax Federal 220gr OTM Figured that would give a good range of bullet weights for subs. |

Your updates on here will be the difference if I buy one of these or not. I have a cache of 190 SUB-X, and we can currently buy a $350 complete upper from PSA that will cycle anything. If the $1200 Long Stroke piston setup with a gas adjustment system in a shorty won't cycle every 300 sub I feed it... Attached File |

I'd like to give a quick update: I am an idiot and was turning the gas valve the wrong direction   I turned the knob the other direction and tested the same 9.4gr of 11fs and a 190gr sub-x bullet. It cycled fine, empties landed about 8-10 feet, and locked back on the last round. So I'll load up some more, and test those other loads as well, hopefully they are delivered before this coming weekend. But I'll swallow my pride and mark it up to user error so far .Only thing I'd like to add is it would be nice to have some sort of indicator on the gas valve. Sharpy will work for now.
