2A Armament Lightweight Build

Numerous years ago, I picked up a 2A Armament Ballios upper / lower, with then intention of doing an all 2A build. Well, apparently life happened, and I dont know how many years have passed. Anyway, 2A is now Nemo Arms, and it doesn't look like their lightweight items are available.

Id like to complete this build, but haven't been doing much with the AR platform in several years. This isnt a budget build, and I want high quality parts. I'm not trying to set any records on the lightest build ever made, but would like to stay with the lightweight theme of the upper and lower.

Do you guys have some suggestions? The two big decisions are probably the barrel and the rail. I was planning on a 12" barrel, but Im not set in stone on that.

I have one of 2A Armament’s titanium / aluminum bolt carriers…sadly it’s now unabtainium.

Agreed, I was sad to see most of the 2A items were no more.

Huh. That sucks.

I got a couple of 2A Armament Palouse-Lite lowers on builds, and I think I have a few of their other lightweight parts on ... lightweight builds.

BBL suggestions:
Faxon Pencil & Gunner profile barrels
Criterion Core series barrels
BCM Enhanced Light Weight barrels

Here's a few off of BCM's website close to 12.5. They don't currently have anything listed at 12.5" in their light weight profiles.
