I highly recommend ordering one from White Oak or Ross Precision Machine. While it might take six or so weeks, maybe a little longer, you will have a proven performer. In the grand scheme of things, what's a little wait? I just ordered a Douglas from Ross Precision. |

I grabbed a White Oak a while back and have been extremely pleased with it. First time out. No break in ritual..I zeroed it, Lightly cleaned with a brush once, theb some CLP cotton patches then shot for groups . 2 nd group with it working on loads with 69 SMKs   |

I was running it with a can, but wanted to see if I’d still get fliers with a bare muzzle. Unfortunately I did, but they weren’t as pronounced as I’ve seen in the past. For the Craddock, it’s still fairly new. It’s an 18” cut for the AEM5 suppressor, so no collar/brake needed. I went with a heavier profile, .936gb. It needed a few rounds to settle in since I’d cleaned it after my last trip, but after the first 4rds of Sierra Comp 69’s it started grouping decent. Planned on fouling with 5, but shots 3-4 went into the same hole. Adjusted my scope so I wouldn’t go off paper, then punched a decent 6 shot group. When switching over to my 77gr handload, shot 1 went high, shot 2 low, then the remaining rounds did pretty good once fouled for that ammo. Depending on your budget I would look at Criterion or WOA. I have Proof, Krieger, Shilen, Douglas, and Lilja barrels that are shooters but I am not sure they are readily available in 18". Barrels that I haven't tried personally but have heard good things about would be Craddock, Geissele, and Centurion. Ultimately, your budget and accuracy expectations should help narrow your search down to a couple of contenders that you can choose from. 18” Fluted Shilen: Attached File |

I have no compliants with it and have been plesently surprised with it. It has suppressed well with an OCM5. I'll 2nd the Rosco. I have one and I have shot it out to 1k yards. With a .30 cal can on it there is not a lot of gas to the face suppressed. |

| For the price it’s hard to beat WOA. Larue does great too but mine tend to chrono slower than the same length of other makes most of the time. Criterion shoots about as good and is CL and usually runs fast for the length. Spending more you can get a Rainier Ultramatch but I don’t think it’ll do much better than the above and for the price I’d rather get a Rock Creek cut by Craddock if it’s available as a RTR or by Paul Ross and you can get it cut however you want. Either will almost surely outdo the RUM, and I say that as an owner and general fan of the RUM. |

I've built 2 ARs for a couple of my buddies with this barrel. They both say their rigs are awesome and super accurate. Unfortunately, they're also out of stock. | I have a couple Green Mountain barrels, a 16" and 13.9" both medium weight and medium gas chrome lined. From the few rounds I have put through them while sighting in, they show great promise in being tack drivers with my reloads. Need more time on them at distance and now that I have a range to use again, hope to find time to test further. |
| I have a 18 inch Centurion Arms MK12 barrel and it shoots great. Tight groups and well gassed when run unsuppressed. When I add the OCM5 it's a little gassy but no worse than my 14.5 Geissele running a Surefire RC2. Centurion puts out some great barrels, that is when they have them in stock. |

Not trying to shit on you, your rifle, or your skills, but all of us have groups we can cherry pick. This rifle always shoots under 3/4 MOA... I've shot many 1/2" TEN SHOT groups with it... BUT... can I do it all the time, every time... no. Thus I don't consider it a 1/2 MOA rifle.  Here is one of those TEN SHOT groups that went under 1/2 MOA.  Here's another one damn close.  |
