Denny: I really like the things I've heard about your barrels and am contemplating purchasing one. One noob question, since it is a middy setup, will M4 handguards fit on it, this is very important to me because I have a Surefire M500A-BL NIB that I want to put on the gun. |
Not Denny but the mid-length gas system will not work with your M500 - there will be a pretty good sized gap there... Spooky |
Thanks for replying Spooky  I have been tied up the the LaRue Billet upper testing. You will need a 9" handguard for the Operator. I have the Rock River versions in stock for these barrels. Denny |
This Operator barrel mated to that LaRue Billet uppper = dr00L Throw on a DD 9.0 Lite w/TangoDown grip and pads; shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Young BCG, PRI buster, I need to calm down. ~$1,200 dollar upper  I hate being poor.

How about on a CMT upper/BCG with LaRue 9.0...... on a GTS lower.

LOL. Yeah, I've been trying to mix in the bed and couch as well. The recliner was easy since it's in the same room as the PC. Now dog has taken over the recliner.  But I do have some other furniture. Nice build but it took you about eleven months since the first batch of the Operator barrels.   Here's my current Operator-Colt 6721 build with only a couple of minor changes since I built it last December  I replaced my KAC 300m with Troy FDE BUIS from Denny of course  My original Blue Force Gear IDF style sling with paracords was replaced with a similar model except with QR push button sling swivels ETA: Troy FDE Buis was purchased from GTS |

I got 4 or 5 out this week. Maybe a few tomorrow but my shipping man, Mike took tomorrow, Friday, off to go to the Tulsa Gun Show and spend some of his mad money So I am handling the whole enchilada tomorrow and I have to finish 3 builds too! Gonna due my best to get a few more out. I should have everyone who has pre-ordered contacted and shipped by next Friday. At least that is my goal and I do my best to meet my goals. Denny |
Well if it took Mongo 11 months to build his, I figure what's my hurry. But seriously, mine's waiting on a LaRue upper receiver. As for pictures of target groups, that may wait on decent weather.

I'd like to see some groups shot as well, say at 200-300 yards. My eyes are fading and need to switch from iron sights to optics, and looking for an EXTREMELY accurate 1/7 or 1/8 chrome lined barrel: sub-MOA. |
