Good deal of info, but I sensed alot of opinion in there...not all of which I agree with...

It was written as an opinion piece, backed up with facts/details. You can see the details, and come away with your own opinion.

I was just trying to give people a REASON why I may or may not "recommend" a particular rifle.

Whether I mentioned the lack of M4 Rails, Chrome Plating, staking etc..etc... I was told 'I didn't need them or sure they have them. Best of all was when one shop who was trying to sell me SW MP15 and DPMS (I believe one of your advertisers) told me you only needed Chrome Plated Barrel and Chamber if you lived in an area like Florida with high humidity (BULL!) and also informed me that 'All AR's' have the same warranties (More BS). I made my decision 2 weeks ago to go with a LMT MRP CQB Defender, but I never quit looking, so even today I stopped by a shop that had a M6A2 LWRC, I asked if the Rail was M1913 and the guy told me they are all the same......most likely it was M1913 but not all rails are created equally.

The more informations you have the better decision you will make.....the difference between being SOLD and making a purchase.

I am jealous that you actually have a local shop that has an LWRC in stock! WOW! Those things are back-ordered by the thousands (2k, if I'm not mistaken), and I'm in the queue for another upper myself. Not sure how long I'll be waiting this time... :)

The LWRC is at Olathe Gun Shop for $2250.00 if anyone is interested. Nice gun, but after reading the many glowing comments on LMT I had my heart set on the LMT.

In response to the Bushmaster issues: It does appear that Bushmaster has decided to start delivering some of the features that we AR enthusiasts like to see in a quality AR. Hopefully they will continue this "quality" trend when they begin manufacturing the ACR. [Fingers crossed!]

Great write up! I agree esp with what you have said about the PMAGS. I have a bunch of HK mags, and PMAGS, and I like the PMAGS more.

Nice post! Now you should write another detailed post explaining the treatment of BRD.

After my own research, I had come tothe conclusion of a CMMG upper. Now I am completely sold on it.

Big +1 !

Bushmaster's QC had dipped quite a bit IMHO in recent years. I have owned several over the years and have found that they aren't light years behind Colt, LMT, and Noveske as some on this board would have you believe but, they just skimp on the little things.........just my .02

Looking forward to the ACR. I just hope they put a little more effort on the QC aspect of it, than they have been doing with their AR's.
