wouldn't those rings have to be removed being this is a piston setup? Thanks. they dont have to be removed since they dont hurt anything. Removing them would be a waste of time. Also since Colt is using standard DI bolts it would be risky to have bolts without rings in the same factory where DI guns are assembled. |
Just got back from shooting my new rifle, all I can say is WOW, rifle worked perfectly, with no issues of any kind. Sights were dead on. My buddy even had kind words for this new Colt. We shot 100 rounds of American Eagle 55 FMJ. I really like the folding front sight, as well as the matech rear. I have had several piston Ar's and this Colt may be the best of the bunch. I will buy another one for a spare. Does anyone know if Colt will sell replacement parts, piston assembly, piston rings?
