I know its not the in thing anymore, but I said screw it and picked up some cheap Magpul OD green stuff today to throw on my beater PSA Freedom carbine.

Heading to the range later, and will put the furniture on tonight when cleaning her. If I like it, I'll order a few OD green pmags to match.

Nice.

I think I'm going to dig it.

All I see at the range is black and fde. I like to be different.

Someone needs to strike oil in the jungle somewhere so we can free the shit out of them and set up shop there. That'll bring back the OD green and woodland shit real quick.

This thread makes me want to do a build in OD.

I luvs me some ODG.
I have a Colt LE6920 (from an OEM1) with mapgul ODG furniture, and a PSA AR-47 dressed up just the same. (STR stock, MOE hand guard, MOE+ grips).
Will work on putting some pics up.

Not nearly as nice as the pictures above, but man I'm really liking the new OD Green!

Glad I didn't just buy another drop in quad. I'm actually surprised how comfortable the MOE feels.

Doubt I'll spend $60.00 on an OD rear BUIS, but I'm ordering four matching pmags tonight.

If you find anywhere that has ODG pmags please let me know. I've been looking for some for quite awhile but everyone is OOS. MagPul discontinued them awhile ago. Did find some straight 20 rounders and windowed ODG at LaRue. I'd like a few non window ones.

500rds in and the paint barely has a scratch on it.  It's held up a lot better than I thought it would, considering I'm not gentle to my rifles.  Top one is today, the other was a week or two ago before I painted the VFG.  The only real wear is the 'hump' on the pistol grip, back of the grip, a small chip on the deflector, and a scratch when I installed a new bolt release.  Not bad for $3 of Krylon, some acetone, and blue painter's tape.

Damn, I'm trying to get rid of mine.  Once I go black (or FDE) I'll never go back.  I'll say this -- as a guy new to ARs. I can't believe the variety of styles, parts, looks, etc.  Amazingly adaptable platform.  Makes customizing 1911s look tame.
