Yes, it's aftermarket.
The wood on that gun isn't original either. It's almost certainly Romanian, especially given the hump that's the remnants of where a forward wooden donkey dick once was. Either way, it's a nice AK with lots of potential. |

Did you buy that one off vaguntrader.com. If so I asked the seller if it has the extra Y axis mark. He said it didn't.
