anyone have a favorite way of moving the ENTIRE front sight to the left?
This is leaning like the Tower of Pisa |

There’s an easier way.
1. Remove pins. 2. Tap FS in the correct direction until it’s sufficiently centered. 3. Re-insert original pins. Yeah, I know, it’s not supposed to work but it does. I’ve done it more than once. Soviet trick

I’ve done it more than once. Soviet trick Yes it may work but the correct way to do it is to move up to the next size of pin after chasing the pin channel with a press fit reamer |

ok, tackled the project the other day. marked position of sight to barrel drove the pins out "some" but not all the way tapped sight over the direction needed. shouldered looked down rear sight to front sight till it looked about right (yea I know a guess) drove pins back in, (had to use a BFH and a large punch) it worked. went out and test fired. by golly I got it just perfect! dead center left and right. easy enough and got a little lucky to boot! thanks guys. |
