i have a couple 5 rd 5.56 mags for a 84s , ive seen a couple vids on cutting the followers to enable the mags to accept 10 rds , however none of the videos actually show them feeding properly afterwards , i cant get past the thought that they made the followers that big to perhaps prevent follower tilt causing feed issues has anyone done this and what was your experience as far as performance afterwards , thanks in advance |

| im set , there was a 15 that came with the ten 30's , i grabbed another 15 and two 5's off GB for bench use so no need to alter , two 15's and two 5's , ten 30's , and have two spare firing pins , rifle is mint with only the two marks from whare the UF rests on the lower handguard , nature of the beast so not tweaked about it |

| Good afternoon, I doubt that a 10-charge magazine will come out of a 5-charger, the length is simply not enough. Remove the bottom cover and, holding the spring with your hand so that it does not fall out, try loading 10 rounds, you will understand exactly what length you need to cut the feeder to. |

| guy shows on YT 10 rds being peeled off , just does not show it functioning properly after the alteration , even the 5 rd 84S mags are not cheap which is why i thought to ask those that would know before i experimented with a expensive mag , honestly the video shows him only removing half of the follower height |
