If anyone has a "BATTLEWORN" Zastava PAP M77, could you please weight it. The website claims its 8 1/2 lbs. but I find that hard to believe, since the plastic stock model weights 8 1/2 lbs. https://zastavaarmsusa.com/product/pap-m77-battleworn/ |

Attached File The fancy one pictured is 10lb even without the scope and master mount. With the scope it is 12lb 2oz. |

No scale but it isn't a skinny baby... an adult size AK not a Youth Model or a fun size... I have a bit of history with these rifles... Long ago in a far off place. anyway this is the one I have now. ZRAK ON-76B Optic and mound had to change the rail that came on the gun to the one from an M76.

I bought a NIB "Battleworn" Zastava DMR M77 rifle yesterday & without a scope on it & a 10 rnd mag in it, it weighs 9.4 lbs. Obviously, after adding a scope & a 20 round mag it is going to get heavier, but that is a given. Zastava did a nice job on manufacturing this rifle & I am pleased with it so far. The reason I went ahead & made the purchase is several of my builder friends bought the milled version of the M77a1 as a kit without the receiver & barrel. My kit building days are winding down, so rather than another build, the stamped model joined the rest of my collection. |
