And does anyone know any of the reputable online dealers that still aren’t charging sales tax?
The one with the SBA3 brace is the preferred model. |

Atlantic Firearms is a Zastava direct dealer and we offer a wide variety of the ZPAP 92 pistols and do not charge tax , Below are a few pics of current AK47 pistols in stock from Zastava .

Atlantic, Prepper Gun Shop, and DK Firearms, are all at the same price for the model you want. Everyone charges tax. All things being equal, Atlantic is on here, and you would probably get better service if something goes wrong with your pistol.
There are a few other dealers that occasionally get them, and sell them cheaper, but you really have to be watching gun.deals in order to find them as they aren't stocking dealers with the importer. |

That bottom model with the SBA3 is the exact model I was looking for! Looks like I was to slow and it’s already out of stock. With no sales tax you guys had the best price. Any ETA on more? |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but since the ZPAP M85 and M92 are imported as pistols, all/most of the parts are actual Zastava/import rather than the usual mix of .922 US made parts? (Yes I know the SB3 parts are made in the USA, I'm talking about trigger groups, pistons, etc)
I have an M85 that I like a lot and have been considering an M92 just for laughs. And to the OP, the SB3 stocked pistol may look weird but it is rock solid, very well built, and probably the MOST practical and comfortable AK stock (Im used to the underfolders and triangle stocks so...) |

When you get one, the CNC Warrior brace is the solution you seek

From the days when all the gun rags touted the RRA DEA rifle as the greatest ever. Those were the days when Magpul made magpuls, Bushmaster was Tier 1, Eotechs and vertical grips were awesome!

Nice looking M92 OP.
I’m a huge fan of mine. |

I just won a Zpap92 on Gunbroker for $815 including tax and shipping to my dealer. Then he only charges $10 to transfer👍👍👍👍

It’s a Manticore triangle stock with a StormWorks hinge. Look for the Manticore Arms website.

View Quote I know this is an older post, but maybe the OP will see it... What's the story on those handguards...did you refinish the originals or find those somewhere? |

View Quote Sorry just saw this post. They are the original that came stained very dark black. I used stain stripper from Ace Hardware to remove the black stain as best I could. I then coated them with new reddish wood stain I also bought at Ace Hardware. I will have to check the garage for the exact color I bought. I think I did 7 coats with a wipe down with steel wool between each one. The annoying thing is I wanted the factory ones, But at the time they only sold them on factory guns and not as a stand alone item, they were not available on the website when I did mine. I think it was like 2-3 months after I made mine that they then offered the red version on their website. I’m undecided on if I like the brighter shiny red that mine became, or if I want the duller, more subdued red that the website offers. |

I have the original black-ish ones that came on my M85 that look like they rubbed charcoal ashes over bare wood, and a set of the dark red from Zastava's website. The red ones look alot like the black-ish ones in person...the color is very thin and barely covers the wood (don't look near as nice as the pic). I'm about to strip the originals and restain with Minwax "Gun Stock", and put a semi-gloss clearcoat on the red ones and see if it helps them. If not, I'll probably try that Sedona Red. |

Seems like Atlantic Firearms is always out of whatever people say they have the best price……

I sanded 90% of the black off of my 85 leaving the black in the wood grain. I used 3 coats of Bombay Mahogany poly shades (polyurethane and stain in one can) on the handguards.

I would assume you could first black dye blonde wood then follow the same process to get the same effect. |
