I'll start by saying I possess no expertise in identifying countries of mag manufacturing. That said, my WASR came with a 30rd and 40rd new and I have absolutely loved them. Im buying another 7.62 AK or two and want to stock up on more mags. Are Romanian surplus mags these days from a place like Atlantic the same style as the ones supplied with my WASR 20yrs ago? They look about the same in the pics, but I don't have the discriminating eye that most of you do. Thanks for any help! |

To the OP, as long as the mags are genuine com-bloc surplus it really doesn't matter their origin. TBH, Romanian AK mags are on the low end of quality IMHO. They work fine, but are bit less refined and more rough looking. |
