I paid around $800 for my Vector UF a few years ago. Built very well!
Mine is sort of a mixmaster though, but does have the original barrel. Also has the more rare, reverse dong furniture, in very good shape. I heard Vector was known to build rifles out of various non-matching parts, but again, rivets, action etc. are all top notch. |

I have the same Vector underfolder that was purchased around 2006 for around $600. Not a chance I would sell it for $1,000. Fabulous tight build, tank tough, 100% reliable and government willing, my great grandchildren will enjoy shooting it! For comparison, I sold a Polish PMKMS underfolder kit in like new condition this March for $1050 on GB, Glocks are running $600, and a basic Ruger Mini 14 is $900ish. IMHO, passing on a clean quality AK for a grand is a mistake. |
We used to sell a ton of those Polish AKM rifles and they were very solid , Based on the Polish AK47 kit and the current market they are probably worth 1100 -1400 range . |

There are no Vector AK underfolders that sold on GB in the past 90+ days to research, and the only active one on GB is $1800+ (with no bids) and looks like it's not original. All the Vector UF's I've seen - including mine - have a gray parkerized finish - that one on GB looks black. Also, the handguard doesn't look to be correct. Further, it has the less desirable (IIRC) Armory USA receiver. I'm no AK expert and my personal Vector AK UF was made prior to the ban expiration in 2004. |

I bought my Vector AK made with a polish parts kit on a 1.6mm stamped Armory USA receiver close to 20 years ago from Atlantic Firearms. It is top shelf. Zero problems. I would not hesitate to take it into battle if I had to go. I have never read of any negative experiences with the 1.6mm stamped Armory USA receiver. |
