Just curious if anyone's got a Fab Defense Ultimag they run in their VZ 58 and what they think about it.

Don't need more mags, already got plenty of good surplus. Just curious if they're any good, would be nice to try something different.
And I like the clear window. I don't run a lot of AR Pmags but still use my gen 2 windowed pmags from time to time.

They suck. They have no metal on the lips or lugs so they have all the problems that the first gen AK pmags had but even more pronounced since the lugs on a 58 mag are significantly smaller. If you drop your gun on the mag it will shear at the lugs 100% of the time.
I come across them all the time as part of package deals or whatever and they're universally at the top of the list of stuff to get rid of. Even ahead of the knockoff MBUS sights everyone seems to have up here. :/
