| Picked up a stamped trigger group at the gun show that was missing the mag catch, spring, sear just received the last part today and put all together, and something odd is happening safely is on and when I push the disconnecter down the hammer falls then when installed in rifle the safety will not move but moves fine outside of rifle. |

Do you have any pictures? The safety on an SKS only blocks the trigger from being pulled. Is the take down "button" not fully engaging into the upper? That button can make contact with the safety. Can also screw up the safety spring if you don't have the safety in the correct position when taking it apart. I had an SKS with a broken safety spring. Was a bitch to replace. |
