I know it is an older post but I was shocked when I saw your photos. Very cool to see. I have a near identical M21 I purchased in 1994. I pulled it from the dealer's crate. I've kept it new and unfired all this time. Mine is the same factory and serial prefix - made about 1300 rifles after yours. Does your bayonet screw have 3 stake marks? That's a trait I've only noticed on late production M21 SKS rifles. Mine had the bayonet removed for ridiculous import reasons, but evidence of the 3 stake marks on the left side of the bayonet pivot remain. |
