| I picked up a great looking Tula SKS the other day and didn't notice until later that the safety doesn't "click" between safe and fire. Instead, it'll move smoothly between them and stay at any intermediate position where you leave it. It appears to stay engaged until it gets fully into the "fire" position so it's not unsafe at least. Is there some spring or part that I should be looking at to try and fix it? |

https://www.ebay.com/itm/133640595846 The eBay listing I linked said that some Russian SKS rely on friction fit but a spring can be added? I had to replace one of these on a Chinese SKS. It does require some trigger group disassembly which can be a PITA. If you want it to look like the original forked style: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255353899030 |
