I'm still new to the AK, but picked up this Saiga 223 and 4 mags for a deal. What is left to make it a full AK 101 conversion? I know the front sight and muzzle device. I'm guessing the gas block. Wasn't sure about the sights or bullet guide. Also, would the Bulgarian AK74 be the correct parts to use?

Carolina Shooter Supply is where I got the bullet guide for mine years ago.


Mine is halfway converter too. Factory handguard with a bolt in trigger guard. One of these days I'll chop the barrel to 16" and thread it.
