Not sure if this belongs here or in the general discussion. Not a problem per say, just a standards question... I'm very new to the AK side. I've had a PSA AK 103 for a bit and I'm starting to customize it to my liking. I've recently bought a ribbed top cover and standard safety lever (both PSA) but there seems to be a much bigger gap between the ribbed cover and both safeties, but particularly the (new) standard. Like I said, I'm basically brand new but this looked like something I ought to ask about... |

AK’s are built to varying specs. Not all parts fit the same. The aftermarket parts often need fitting to fit different applications. Other than it being an eyesore it won’t cause any problems. Most of my kit build AK’s have small gap between the selector and dust cover. A couple do not. |
