| The Bulgarian brakes do work. I have one. I dont have the SLR brake but from the video it looks like it works much better. It also has more side blast but that is what is expected from an effective brake. I also have a Manticore nightbrake but have not tried it yet. I have had the PWS brakes and they work also. I alternate using a brake vs. Flash hider depending on my mood. |
| I've got a question about this brake. I've already got one but, I haven't shot it, yet. I installed it on my Draco-C and when screwing it down it actually went around that last turn. I've installed plenty of muzzle devices on different AK's but, I've never been able to get it around the last turn. Usually when screwing them on you'll about get it on but, it'll get too tight and you'll need to turn it back until it catches the notch. There will be some wiggle room but, that's okay. This one actually fit all the way down, perfectly. The only problem is it's really tight with very minimal wiggle room. Is this bad? It'll be one PITA if I have to remove it. |

I have the 24mm IN STOCK.

Would one of these make my Draco (No stock, not SBR'd) a gun to actually fire for accuracy, rather than a Novelty Gun?? (Muzzle Flash, Cannon sound etc etc)??
Although I'm sure it will still keep the flash and make it louder, hopefully just not give it a "Concussion Effect" like alot of Brakes this small are notorious for. (Especially a short barrel like a Draco) Any Non-SBR "Draco-C" owners buy one of these brakes yet? How did it change the rifle going from having a welded Muzzle Nut to now having the "SR-47 Muzzle Brake? |

Todd@SLR Good that it fits tightly, I'm sure he was asking/worried, being it would fit tight against the "Muzzle Crown" and most AK's have a tad bit of play to where it doesn't lock up tight against the Crown. Something I'm sure most people don't know if its that way for a reason, or if its just due to the fact it doesn't normally happen to line up perfectly when screwed downward. |
I go the 24mm brake and it works great. The side blast is more but it was only noticeable visually, not to me as the shooter. I shot it off a barricade, on the ground, on my side, it ran great and worked much better than the original Bulgarian brake in a side by side comparison. Money well spent.
