Here's one I just picked up yesterday.  I just finished my ten day wait (CA laws).  This is a Yugo with a muzzle break in place of the grenade launcher.  It was very clean, very little cosmoline.  These pics were taken just after I got home.  I haven't cleaned it yet.  I'm very pleased.

Well I just finished turning my "new to me" sks into an (922r legal) evil black rifle, and I must say it performs beautifully.  I put 100 rounds through it at the range without even the slightest hiccup.

Here is my $99 Dunhams special. Im 99% sure it is unissued as there is zero wear on the moving parts and bore. And the stock is in great shape. Im digging it!!

I found my Yugo with an ATI fiberforce stock. I thought it was the most badass thing ever, until I actually shot it. Now it has an original Yugo wood stock, and one of Glane5910's stainless gas shut off valves to correct jamming issues. It's done, as far as modifications are concerned. Might duracoat the steel black to restore the look of an "unissued" one.

Wow those 2 Yugos are pretty.

Weasel-how do those scopes work? Are they any good? How about the mounts? I'm looking to get one for my Chinese SKS.
<hr height=1px color=black noshade>

Also interested in how those scopes work.  I've seen a few different setups in the CDNN catalogs, but have been leary of trying them.
<hr height=1px color=black noshade>

I'm not sure how Weasel's work, but I had one of those mounts and they just don't hold zero good enough for my taste.   Eventually, it shifts....and you have to rezero.  I even had one crack near the front from recoil and hitting the reciever.

Guys/gals, ......SKS's are best left unscoped.  Everyone thinks it will work, many have tried, many are satisfied with minute of pie plate/garbagecanlid  accuracy; I wasn't and realize now an SKS is best left iron sighted, in it's wood stock, with it's original magazine.  It is what it is, a great rifle.

Just don't.  Leave them the way they should be.

Probably good advice.  As a new owner, I must resist the temptation.

I have an AR that I can mod every way but loose.

My first C&R purchase.  It's an m59/66 with matching numbers in excellent condition.  By far becoming my favorite gun.  I liked it so much I just ordered an m59 model.  Should be here next week.  Will try and post pics when I get it cleaned up.
