A couple of questions about reloading 7.62x39 (brass cases) for the Palmetto State Armory AK-103. (asking for a friend). 1. What diameter bullets to use - .310inch ? 2. Alliant says use Reloader 7 for Speer 123 gr SP - any other recipes you have to consider? (of course due diligence for any suggestions) |

It's advertised as being specifically for 300BO and 7.62 Russian. As for actual recipes I'd have to go look at what I'm running. Been focusing on 7.62 mini whisper and 500mag lately. |

| Thanks for your replies. I'm a "babe in the woods" regarding the AK and will verify everything as I go forward. I reload several pistol/rifle calibers now and I'll try my hand at reloading a few of these 7.62x39 rounds - just because. I think this new PSA AK-103 rifle will be fun. |

It's just a cut off 5/16 bolt (right size for 7.62x39 case mouth) screwed to a board, bolted to my bench. The decapper was meant to be used with a long rod that fit into the case. Then you bring the rod and decapper together to pry the primer out. It works, but results in banging your knuckles together, no bueno. Subs, not something I'm into. |

I’ve got a BUNCH of brass 7.62x39 cases and need to fill them. I’m thinking the Berrys plated 123’s are a solid choice. Might be a “late winter” reloading project for me. This would be for a couple of Arsenal AK’s and a few SKS’s. |

I tried the Berrys and was unhappy with them. I would shop for an actual jacketed bullet. |
