I just picked up an AK301M mount for my Waffen Werks Bulgarian AK74 but it will not mount to the side rail. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I’m new to AK optics but I really thought I chose the right one.

There should be a silver screw on the bottom of the rs. Regulate that tightens and loosens it to fit on the side rail of your ak maybe it’s too tight try loosening it.
