I need to adjust the elevation on my semi RPDs front sight. Currently it is screwed all the way down so the front sight post is touching the locking bolt (for the windage). It looks like the front sight post is square and 5mm, can anyone point me towards what I need to adjust it? I am looking on Amazon for ‘4 point 5mm sockets’ but am not sure if I am using the right terms to search. Any socket would need to be pretty ‘skinny’ as the gap between the front sight ears is only about 8mm and would need to be about 2cm to reach the front sight. |

Thank you thank you thank you! I had that part but didn’t realize it was the FS adjustment. It didn’t want to fit between the front sight ears but when I saw the scratches on the outside at the appropriate height I knew it must’ve been used for that (scratches are from the front sight ears). Will make adjustments and hopefully finally get it sighted in. Been thinking of how to fix this issue for months, was thinking I was going to have to get something custom made and it was in my buttstock all this time! |
