Hello, I recently purchased an PSA GF3 ak and I watched a video (it’s been a while since I’ve owned one) on how to disassemble the gas to and handguards. All was well until I tried to push the gas tube lever back into place. I’ve tried everything, If I take off the lower handguards the lever will secure the gas tube with no issue. It seems like once the lower handguard is installed the gas tube is too far back for the flat area on the lever to engage it. Any help is appreciated, thanks! |

I got the GF3 as well. You could have rotated the gas tube lock lever full around. Take the lever back to where it goes when the gas tube is locked in place then move it up like you're about to remove it. From there I press in the gas tube down and jiggle the lever up and down till it pops in. Light to medium pressure should do, more on the medium side. Hope that helps! I'm here because I cannot get the trigger pins out of this sucker! I want to upgrade the trigger but can't get the old one out
