| The forward mounted red dot/Ultimak combo on my SAR-1 just doesn't work well for my aging eyes anymore. I'm thinking about switching to either a Primary Arms 3x microprism or 1-6X scope. What do you think? The rifle is really just a range toy. |
| I’m debating this same thing. The primary arms special purchase 1-6x just popped up for sale with the 7.62x39 reticle for $199 so I jumped on it. It’s a hell of a deal for a Philippine made scope. If I don’t like it on the AK I’ll move it to a 300 blackout AR15, and get the 3x micro for the AK. |

It’s quite a bit more awkward than on ARs. For a range toy it could be good though. Heavy and picky with eyebox is a good training aid. |

Currently using the PA ACSS 2x prism on the master mount. Seems solid, while being simple. Might upgrade to a PA ACSS 3x prism at some point. |

I put a Primary Arms ACSS 1-6 SFP scope on my AES-10B. Built in bullet drop for 7.62x39mm - Once you get the 100 Yards dialed in, the 200 and 300 yard drop are easy to hit the target. Even had some newbies from California out shooting for the first time and they were 50% to ring steel. It's a 100% for me.
