I wish I would have read your posting about SG and Natchez before ordering from PSA. After being told on the Industry board my order was processing, I had to wait and hound them to find out they were OOS. 12 surplus Euro AK47 magazines..... ? OK What was weird was that they went out of stock after my order was placed, then were restocked, then again went out of stock. .... I should have just got one of the NIW Hungarian 5 packs from SG when they were in stock and had done with it for the same price. Thanks for the heads up on the Natchez specials. |

SGAmmo is offering 10 assorted Euro mags for $80. If you buy a couple sets to spread the shipping costs, they're only a little more than the Tapco, and will always look cooler  (and hold their value better if you ever need to sell them).

He is talking about Yugo M85/M90 5.56 mags, because there was never any standardization of 5.56 AKs most are very proprietary. My guess is the $8 mags you're talking about are the European 7.62 mags, unless there is a line of European mags made for the Yugo that I'm not aware of. |

Whatacountry has Hungarian mags in looks like VG condition for 10.95, drops to 9.95 if you buy ten and with shipping is 110.45 to your door, so 11 bucks a mag total delivered. This beats the other Hungarian deal available from SGammo by 2 bucks a mag, 110.45 vs.131.50 for a ten pack, so thought it was worth posting, I have a batch of Hungarian mags and they are very nice mags:

I just ordered a dozen, along with 2 20rd Korean mags (more for show than go). My intention is to dye the FDE mags brown, like I did my Magpul grip for my M92. 
FWIW, my "low abuse" use of the waffle-sided Tapco mags has shown them to be reliable feeders in my M92. I'm hoping the much better looking slabsides perform in a similar manner. For $6, it's hard to go wrong. |
