I'm looking to purchase the above mentioned rifle with a 12.5"barrel with a P/W booster making it 16.2" long. My question is with the booster, how does this affect the rifles performance and accuracy? I understand the whole SBR thing, and it must stay permanently attached without a form 1. Does the booster enhance or decrease recoil like a brake? Or does it do nothing and just needed for OAL? |

The original concept was to basically be a single chamber to trap gas and increase pressure for more reliable cycling in a short barrel. In my experience with the normal one that came with my PSA 104 that's now an SBR, it worked fine with it, but also worked fine with a Manticore Nightbrake and a Bulgarian 4-piece conical brake, and even with a bare muzzle. It really shouldn't have an effect on accuracy. It's fine as far as muzzle devices go but it's pretty basic really. |
