I own a few P-7 pistols that have been converted to SBR’s and I love them. A localish guy has an AK-104 available and overall it looks relatively the same? I can read about them on PSA’s website, but can somebody give me the Cliff notes on what any differences are besides a 10.5 inch on the P7 versus 12.5 inch barrel on the AK-104? Likes ? Dislikes? GF3 has nitride barrel GF4 has PSA's own CHF barrel and will have an upgraded trigger (usually NIB) GF5 will have FN CHF barrel and ALG trigger |

| Good info. Since I have 2x P7 SBRs already, plus a Draco SBR am I missing anything by not having the 104? I do have a Zhukov folding stock on one of the P7’s as well. |

The 104 will also have the side optic mount rail, where the AK-P has the picatinny top cover. Aside from what's been covered, the two use different sights. IIRC, the front sights are a bit different height to account for the shorter sight radius. The rear sight on the 104 is a more traditional AKM setup with an adjustable elevation. The rear sight on the AK-P is a non adjustable design. The AK-P uses the aluminum top cover with PSA's hinge design. I'm not sure if they've fixed it yet, but the early ones had a way of sliding on the hinge under recoil and the top cover becoming pretty hard to open without prying it. The 104 is a stamped steel top cover that installs like normal AK ones. |

The vortex sparc solars are 90 bucks at psa right now. I have one on my saiga 12 and a couple waiting for RSR top halves for my krinks. Like em enough i have one more inbound for my khyber pass once it's back up (rebarreling it and adding side rail). |
