Beware if you order a surplus grip for your wasr you need to order the surplus grip screw with it. The new WASR’s have a hex head screw and the head is bigger around and deeper then the old screw.
I was able to drill the grip out so it would fit.

Or snag a M6 bolt from the hardware store, chuck it in the drill, fire up the grinder or belt sander and grind the hex head round until it'll fit the grip. Cut a slot with your Dremel cut-off disc for a screwdriver. Finish up with some cold blue. This will ensure that the surplus grip screw you ordered three weeks earlier will show up in the mail the very next day.
