I have a SA M-7 R (not an A1) and it's topcover is the older smooth style. |

Here is my Bulgarian AK74 build, which I test fired yesterday. 4 different mags, 120 rounds of Bulgarian 80s ammo from Century (about 10 cents ea.) No misfires, shoots a bit low but windage is spot on. BTW using the Tapco gas piston, which is about 4 mm longer than the original, apparently has no adverse effects I can find. Other US parts: shiny plum K-var girp, Tapco G2 trigger parts, and serial number matched Nodak Spud receiver. Made from one of the last primo parts kits sold by ORF. Wood gently sanded and re-finished with Formby's tung oil. I used the bolt cutter riveter and other tools/jigs from Pat McHenry. Needs paint.

Forgive my ignorance, but how does one go about posting pics here? Nevermind...I figured it out... Pelican case...mmmmmm   Dura-coat application done in-house... my house  Upper and lower forearm by TDI...not bad feel...nice and solid   Ace folding stock and adapter...Don't cut that tang!!  Canted FSB? Who needs a front sight anyway? |
