Hello All, I have a Century Arms WASR (Made in Romania stamped on the bottom), however, the rear sight block is stamped ZASTAVA YUGOSLAVIA. Rifle was purchased in the 2000s, never fired. Question, is this a legit Century Arms product or did the gun shop sell us a Frankengun? Regards |

I’m guessing at the time they just threw the same instruction sheet in with every rifle that shipped. Using the Wayback on their website it looks like model RI1598-X Bought it on a whim years ago when a local shop had a sale going. I think I paid around $500, then instantly regretted because it was a suspect brand. |

| Yep, not a WASR as others have said. Just a Century M70, which I still believe the consensus is that they (Century) didn't actually build those. They were subcontracted to good builders and are considered solid rifles. I'd keep it if you didn't have a need/want to get rid of it. |

Lol. Nice zastava wasr. IIRC, some of these came with original barrels and some got like green mountain ones. And some had the original night sights. I have the milled version of this, built by DCI for century, which eventually became nodak spud. OP's says "DC Industries", which would be that same DCI. |
