Nice looking - Is the Optics Rail removable? And what is there - possible to use a std AK sight leaf sight?

I have one of these from Atlantic and it is a fantastic little rifle. I had the rear swapped out with a Jmac rail and added a folder brace, hands down one of my favorite aks.
