| I went to zero my RPK with my 552 at my house, just with a laser sight tool at 100 yards which is the distance from my house to my barn. I maxed out the elevation all the way and it just barely made zero without forcing it further. Is it the side mount that is canted? Do I have a bad optic? is this a common issue with the AK platform? |

First remove the muzzle device (if it has one). Use a laser bore sight device and see if it is close or off , if off then you can shim the scope mount to get the sight to “look at the laser dot. If the receiver has a side scope mount on it then you could remove a rivet and then adjust to make it correct and then file the hole round and reinstall the rivet. |
